2011 March—Come As You Are-Women’s Ministry

Read this Scripture;

We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check. James 3:2 NIV

Wouldn’t it be interesting if we were able to always do or say the right thing? The truth is that we cannot, we all stumble. The great news is that we can come as we are to Jesus—all our faults, weakness, imperfection, hang-ups and all the baggage. The Bible is full of great stories of God using people’s most feared weakness or imperfection to do great and wonderful things. Last month we talked about accepting yourself for who you are, seeing the real you in the mirror—now it is time give it all to Jesus. Lay it at the cross and let God use those things to create the great story of you. Remember God is holding you in his hand as you read the scripture below, say it aloud “God is holding me in his hand and I will not fall”.

If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. Psalms 37:23-24 NIV
