Review and study on Esther
Esther was a remarkable woman of God. One thing that really stands out is she had to face herself. Who she was, what she had become and what God wanted her to be. Let’s look at what the word reflections means. Reflection-- the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected, an image; representation; counterpart, fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration, a thought occurring in consideration or meditation. Read this scripture:
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:12
Listen to 1 Corinthians 13 KJV
Every woman has things that they are insecure about. At some point, we need to face those insecurities and really face ourselves. God created woman from man, so we are made of refined clay. Not just ordinary clay, we are refined by the potter, God. In order to be whom and what God created us to be at some point we need to make peace with the things that are bothering us, try to see ourselves in Gods view. What he made us to be, not what we see in a mirror.
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
Listen to 2 Corinthians 3 KJV
Esther was in the worse possible situation, she had no parents, she was placed into a harem, and everything from the outside looked hopeless. Esther chose to see her real self and be what God wanted her to be, she made peace with herself and her situation. The result was all her hardships turned into what princess stories are made of. Depending on God, seeing herself as he wanted her to be and allowing herself to follow Gods will changed her life for good.
Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2 Timothy 2:7 NIV
Listen to 2 Timothy 2 KJV
Spend some time looking at your real reflection, not the one in the mirror; the reflection of what God made you to be. The beautiful, refined you that God has wonderful plans for.
Reminder of February's Memory Verse
Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment. John 7:24 NIV
Listen to John 7 KJV
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24 KJV

A veil is--a mask, disguise, or pretense; concealment, something that covers, separates, screens, or conceals.
In order to really reflect the Lord's glory through us we need to unveil according to one of our scriptures. The question is what veil's are we wearing that prevent Gods glory from really shining through us?
Dear Lord please reveal anything that is being concealed; let us really see ourselves through your eyes. Help us break the seperation and to accept the beautiful, refined women you made us to be. Let it be for your glory alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
